Katelyn earned a B.A. degree in English and Spanish from the University of Michigan. Having taught high school English for the past two years, she is returning to school to receive a Masters degree in sociolinguistics in education at Georgetown University. During her teaching career, Katelyn served as a journalism teacher and member of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association, leading her students to receive outstanding recognition at state and national levels. Having instructed high school seniors on personal statements in the past, Katelyn is excited to advise students in a one-on-one setting on how to leverage their identities and experiences in order to achieve success in their post-graduation lives.
