Carolyn graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. with Honors in Classics and a minor in German Studies. As a homeschool student using a classical curriculum, she encountered Latin at a young age, and it quickly became her greatest academic passion. She started coaching and tutoring other Latin students early on and has tutored high school Latin throughout and beyond her time at Stanford. After a year working in the Washington, D.C. area in education policy and programming, Carolyn has just returned to academia to pursue graduate school in medieval studies at the University of Toronto, and plans to teach high school Latin after she completes her M.A.
